The Strategic Operations intern will assist in the rollout of pilots or new initiatives that enable Uber Health to expand beyond its current offering. You’ll work closely with the Head of Strategic Operations, the partnerships team and product, supporting a cross-functional business unit team, jointly completing the vision and strategy for Uber Health. You’ll gain hands-on experience working on challenging, significant projects with guidance from a mentor and other members of our team.

The ideal intern will be an operator who can thrive in an ambiguous environment, brings collaboration and communication skills, is an upbeat and creative problem solver and is passionate about healthcare (or brings a strong appetite to learn about the space!). The job will entail translating concepts into executable projects so as to deliver on key business goals that unlock growth.

What You’ll Do

The Strategic Operations team works on a variety of initiatives, ranging from research on new international markets, integrating new types of logistics solutions (e.g. prescription delivery) into our tool, building strategy for organizations that sign up online via a self-service portal, and scaling existing pilots into full-fledged operations. The intern can expect to work on similar types of projects. Across all of these you will:

  • Collect, synthesize and help prioritize requirements
  • Build project plans and report regularly on status updates to stakeholders and Uber for Business leadership
  • As needed, do market research to support projects
  • As needed, join high-level partner conversations to understand needs of customers or vendors
  • Find creative solutions and build scalable programs

Basic Qualifications

  • Enrolled in MBA Program (Earliest graduation date December 2022)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong curiosity about future health technology
  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Experience with Google Docs preferred
  • Strong project management experience
  • Hands-on approach and not afraid to dive into the details
  • Process orientation but also know how to build flexible, iterative workflows with a customer-service approach
  • Passionate about our mission and excited by how this role will drive the Company’s success
