Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Business Strategy & Operations Associate to join our Virtual Care team.

At Oscar Health we are refactoring healthcare. We want to help each of our members achieve their healthcare goals in a personalized way. To help us achieve that goal we are looking for who push boundaries to refactor healthcare and the healthcare delivery system.

About This Role

The Virtual Care Operations Associate will lead projects to build new programs in our Virtual Care business or improve existing programs. You will work with Oscar's Provider and Virtual Medical Coordinator teams to identify areas of inefficiency or challenges in the patient and provider experience. You will develop new processes to address those challenges.

You will report to the Senior Manager of Virtual Care. This is a hybrid role, and you will work part of the time in the New York City office and part of the time working remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects to build new programs in our Virtual Care business and improve existing programs
  • Leverage data to understand and solve problems or forecast impact of future programs
  • Be a trusted expert on Virtual Care processes and essential collaborator for our Provider and Medical Assistant team
  • Lead operational implementation and quantitative analysis of strategic issues where needed for our Virtual Care programs
  • Monitor and ensure we are tracking to our member engagement targets, identify challenges, and work with partners to develop new processes to solve them
  • Lead Virtual Primary Care schedule design and staffing strategy, including optimizing our scheduling processes, working with product to improve our scheduling product, and building a forecast model

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or 4 years equivalent work experience
  • Experience translating data into problem statements and solutions
  • 1+ years of experience in a highly analytical role
  • 3+ years of professional experience, in a healthcare operations environment, high-growth company, or consulting
  • 2+ years of experience with strategic quantitative analysis, including assumptions-motivated modeling
  • Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)/Google Sheets Experience
  • Experience with SQL or have taken a course in SQL
