About the Role

This person will work directly with our CEO and partner closely with other leadership team members, collaborating cross-functionally and enabling our team to execute and innovate quickly. You will serve as a key partner for senior leaders on a wide range of projects involving business decision support, scoping large initiatives, investor communications, and strategic planning. You'll be responsible for leading key projects, driving both the vision and project delivery. The successful candidate will be able to drive cross-functional projects, prioritize tasks in a fast-paced startup environment, and communicate effectively.

What You'll Do

  • Provide leverage and work to improve the operating efficiency of our CEO - making time, information, and decision-making more effective
  • Shadow and support our CEO in meetings, tracking and ensuring follow up on next steps and project managing deliverables through resolution
  • Conduct detailed research and analysis on a wide range of topics
  • Drive meeting preparation, ensuring the CEO has the key information and sending out agendas or other documents to meeting attendees as needed
  • Support our CEO in developing, formalizing and implementing strategies around company growth and organizational improvement
  • Functions as a strategic partner with CEO and Leadership to maximize business outcomes; works autonomously and drives the strategic agenda
  • Take on cross-functional initiatives that don’t yet have a clear home within the organization and assume ownership to scope, manage and execute
  • Conduct analyses and prepare presentations for senior leadership, including the Board of Directors

What You Need

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Strategy, Finance, Project Management and/or Business Operations roles in high-growth organizations or management consulting
  • Exceptional work ethic, follow-through, judgment and demonstrated ability to provide significant operating leverage
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of leadership across the organization
  • Experience with a distributed organization, having built strong partnerships with stakeholders across diverse cultures and backgrounds
  • Ability to lead strategic initiatives and projects in a cross-functional environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build and present data-driven decks to C and Board-level executives
