Job Description

Zendesk is looking for creative & strategic Product Management Interns to join our team in the US! Interns can be based remotely anywhere in the US, or co-located with one of our offices in San Francisco, CA or Madison, WI. Relocation assistance is not provided. This internship will be 40 hours per week for 10-12 weeks starting in June 2022.

Our software empowers agents to provide flawless, personalized, and efficient support to their customers. Our Product Management team is responsible for defining and delivering critical functionality that enable our customers to deliver outstanding customer service at scale.

By the end of your internship, you will have influenced a product that delights our customers every day. You will be involved in all phases of product management from conceptualization to discovery, feature definition, design, working with engineers on the delivery and measuring the impact.

The goal of this internship is to improve your skills and give you on-the-job training to develop your product management knowledge! The ideal candidate will be passionate for product, and have a deep intuitive ability to deliver people-centric solutions. You should have the ability to do phenomenal things efficiently and effectively while managing multiple partners to work cross-functionally.

In This Role, You Will

  • Build an understanding of user behavior and expectations through customer engagement, research, and diving into quantitative data
  • Be responsible for a key element of our products, defining requirements and working with design and development to land the feature over the course of the internship
  • Define and deliver product functionality that exceeds the expectations of all our Zendesk customers

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business, IT or related field at the time of the internship
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be located in the United States for the full duration of the internship
