About This Role

We’re seeking a talented and curious Product Intern to join our newly-formed Sessions team. Sessions is a new hands-on format from MasterClass where members can learn alongside the world’s best by working on projects and activities as part of a structured curriculum in just 30 days. Members actively participate by sharing their work and getting feedback from peers and trained Teaching Assistants. In this role, you will help the team shape the product strategy and vision by working closely with our Product, Design, and Engineering stakeholders across the organization. You will do so by conducting research, helping lead analysis of user behavior and competitive trends, and using product metrics to inform our forward-looking roadmap. You will partner with stakeholders in our day to day execution across numerous strategic product initiatives, including improvements to our existing experiences and the development of new features.

What You Will Do

  • Work with other product managers and designers on strategic product initiatives
  • Research and lead the analysis of the competitive environment, members’ behavior, and product metrics to inform our forward-looking product roadmap
  • Help shape product strategy in partnership with lead PM and other team members
  • Work closely with customer support and other cross-functional team members to bring recommendations to the product team and turn them into actionable items on the roadmap
  • Help prepare for sprint planning and all other agile ceremonies. Drive prioritization of features and projects for upcoming & future product development
  • Help analyze experiments and data in order to make recommendations around future product iterations

About You

  • Desire to work on high-impact product initiatives
  • Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to make product decisions using data and user research
  • Ability to effectively communicate product decisions with stakeholders
  • Track record of making sound decisions after weighing all the factors that must be considered (qualitative and quantitative data, business impact, timing constraints, etc)
  • Team player with proven track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Product curiosity, driven by desire to develop strong understanding of user behavior and data
  • Drive to learn and advance their product management skills
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional partners (eng, ux, uxr, data, marketing)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge and passion for education and online experiences

Requirements

  • Available to work Summer 2022 for 12 weeks/ 40 hrs per week (remote internship)
  • Legally eligible to work in CA, AZ, NY, WA, TN, IL, GA, TX, UT, NH
  • Excited to work with an amazing team, in a fast-paced environment, on impactful work
