Coast is re-imagining the trillion-dollar U.S. B2B card payments infrastructure, with a focus on the country’s 500,000 commercial fleets, 10 million commercial vehicles, and 4 million commercial drivers. The incumbent technologies that cater to these customers are decades old, and drivers and fleets increasingly demand modern digital experiences and affordable and transparent financial services products. Coast's mission is to deliver them at a transformational scale, beginning with the Coast Fleet and Fuel Card built on a cutting-edge spend management platform.

Our first Business Operations Associate will be a cross-functional role working across the entire company — including product, engineering, customer service, sales, and marketing. This person will partner directly with the CEO and Coast leadership but will be prepared to wear many hats and to get their hands dirty.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the CEO daily
• Respond to customer support emails, review potential credit and fraud alerts, review customer applications, and more
• Track and provide insight regarding the key operating metrics across the company
• Assist in creating daily, weekly and monthly operational reporting
• Work on projects to continuously improve company process, technology, and future growth opportunities
• Prepare monthly reports for management and the Board of Directors emphasizing operational/financial performance metrics, historical results, forecasts and trends
• Constantly identify and triage multiple priorities, issues, and roadblocks facing the company
• Own administrative and office management tasks, or any number of other urgent priorities when necessary to serve the company’s overall success

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of professional experience
• Experience in management consulting or investment banking a plus
• Solid analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
• Comfort working in a high growth, constantly changing environment
• MBA or advanced degree a nice to have
