Quizlet offers an exciting 2022 Summer Internship Program from either June 6th - August 12th or June 27th - September 2nd. Our program is a 10-week paid internship that focuses on enabling students to advance their professional preparation through work experience, professional development, and mentorship. We have a fun summer planned for you with several events and workshops. You will work on real projects, features, and updates that will contribute to Quizlet and impact our 50 million+ users.

While Quizlet has offices in San Francisco, CA, Denver CO, and NYC, our internship program will be fully remote.

About The Learn Team

We know that many students have trouble studying effectively, they often get stuck and lose motivation. In that moment of being overwhelmed, we provide the trusted coach they turn to. Learn understands what the student is trying to learn, can assess how much they already know, and then adapt to the best way each student learns the material. We build upon billions of study data points answered every week, along with key learning science principles, to build delightful experiences that motivate and increase confidence for students when they're struggling.

In This Internship, You Will

• Help develop Learn product features that millions of students rely on every day
• Work to understand our customer needs and create solutions that drive engagement
• Partner with a wide variety of cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, design, and data science
• Create and manage a product timeline to ensure on-time delivery
• Evaluate competing solutions and prioritize based on impact and relative effort

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• A strong passion for education, technology, and blending the two to create amazing study experiences for students
• Comfort with ambiguity and turning problems into concrete solutions
• Strong communication skills and experience working with different cross-functional teams
• The ability to tell a story around the vision of a product or idea
• A sense of what makes great, intuitive UX/UI
• Rising Senior or Senior status (preferred)

Bonus Points If You Have

• Previous internship experience ideally at an EdTech or other consumer-facing technology company
• Previous experience in learning science or machine learning
• A background in business, computer science, education, or another related field that will help contribute to building amazing products

Compensation

• Colorado candidates: Base pay for this role starts at $40 per hour. The actual pay may be higher depending on your skills, qualifications, and experience
