About The Role

We are looking for highly motivated problem-solvers who are passionate about Operations and Last-Mile Delivery, to join our 2022 Undergraduate Summer Internship Program.

During this 12-week program, you will lead a project end-to-end, solving challenges for our Consumers, Couriers, Restaurants and the Marketplace.

You will work alongside Operations Managers and partner with teams across the organization from CRM, Marketing and Product.

Throughout the course of your internship, you will have the opportunity to provide regular updates and recommendations to our US&C Senior Leadership Team. We will be there to support, mentor and guide you as you immerse yourself in the world of Operations!

What You'll Do

  • Embark on an exciting 12-week project focusing on a real-time, impact business challenge
  • Address key strategic questions through analytical frameworks and insights to advise the team on key decisions
  • Experiment - Launch new products to improve our sales efficiency, spanning pricing, sales compensation, segmentation and much more!
  • Become an Operations subject matter authority and in the process, learn the vast inner workings of Uber. In addition, we will host various training and social events on an ongoing basis so that you're growing your professional and personal network

Basic Qualifications

BA/BS student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree with at least one semester/quarter remaining to complete

Availability to complete a full-time, 12-week internship Summer 2022

  • Self-starter with an analytical approach
  • Insightful, team oriented and naturally adopts the 'rolling up your sleeves' mentality
  • Skilled at balancing between short-term needs and long-term investments; grows with change and adopts diversity and ambiguity within your work
  • Bias toward action and constant push clarity and execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as stakeholder management, consensus building, and project management
  • Very proficient in Excel and data management software
