Verily’s internship is a paid 13 week program for students in their graduating year of college, who are interested in working at the intersection of technology, data science and healthcare. This program is designed to expose students who have been historically underrepresented in this field to career opportunities and a pathway towards full-time employment within Verily. Students from all schools, and students who identify with a demographic that is minoritized within the technology, data science, and healthcare industries are encouraged to apply. We are looking for an enthusiastic Product Management Intern for our Verily Health Platforms business. As part of the Verily Product Management team, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, UX, Clinical, Data, Product Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, and more, to advance products from conception to launch.

You will join a team of Product Managers building a new generation of solutions that help healthcare providers deliver higher value care. Our offerings span AI-enabled cost accounting, clinical process modeling, and precision guidance for patients and care teams. In this role, you will have the opportunity to design, build, and launch features that shape the experience of delivering and receiving healthcare at provider organizations across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Own a project or feature as part of a broader product roadmap within the Verily Health Platforms team.
• Incorporate market, customer, and user research insights into product requirements.
• Work directly with Engineering, UX, Clinical, and Data teams to translate product requirements into launched features.
• Manage complex schedules that involve large cross functional teams, setting priorities to drive rapid execution.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in university as a full-time student (notate level of education required/preferred for the internship) with an anticipated graduation date on or before the end of 2023.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and building software products.
• Academic or professional experience in healthcare delivery (e.g., at a hospital) or healthcare financing (e.g., a health plan).
• Familiarity with B2B / enterprise software business models.
