Job overview

The Associate at Renegade will work closely with the Managing Directors providing critical support in sourcing and diligencing investment opportunities and researching market opportunities. They will meet with founders, manage and run diligence processes, and help triage deal flow.

The Associate has strong analytical skills, and will organize and document the diligence process by synthesizing deal and industry information;  managing deal documentation and diligence activity;  preparing deal briefs and valuation analysis; and conducting key components of diligence such as customer calls and financial modeling meetings with management teams. They will also build and nurture a network with peers in the VC industry.

The Associate should be comfortable with fast-paced and oftentimes unpredictable deal processes, have high attention to detail, strong work ethic, pride of ownership in their work, and high standards for themselves and their colleagues. As a strong oral and written communicator, they should be comfortable meeting entrepreneurs and building relationships.
